Thermoguard Wallcoat SFR Topcoat

Thermoguard Wallcoat Smoke and Flame Retardant (SFR) Topcoat is needed to be used over Thermoguard Wallcoat Intumescent Basecoat. On its own, it is a flame retardant which achieves a Euroclass B-s1,d0 rating on walls and ceilings.

How does it work? It is designed to emit a vapour which dampens fire and suppresses smoke.

This product can be tinted to most NCS, BS4800, BS381 and RAL colour codes.

If purchased from the website, it will come in a stock white colour unless otherwise clarified in the order notes.

The topcoat can come in a matt or an eggshell finish.

It can be purchased in 25, 50 and 100 square metre packs.

Application Instructions

Use either a synthetic brush or a roller made from woven fabric, to apply the paint.

In most circumstances, just a single coat is needed, although 2 coats can be applied. For example, if you purchase this product in a dark colour, 2 coats may be needed.

Ensure that the product is kept in conditions between 8 and 30 degrees Celcius during application.

In normal conditions, Thermoguard Wallcoat SFR Topcoat is touch dry within an hour and can be overcoated after 4 hours. Ensure that the application environment is warm and has good ventilation, to aid drying.

Tools should be cleaned with clean water immediately after use.

Ensure that the product is stored in conditions between 5 and 30 degrees Celcius.
