Quelstop Fire Batt – QB50

The Quelfire 50mm Quelstop Fire Batt is designed to reinstate the fire rating of walls and floors when they have service penetrations.

Specifically, the penetrations could include: cables, cable bunches, cable trays, cable ladders and non-combustible pipes. For combustible pipes and insulated non-combustible pipes, additional products will be needed.

These fire batts provide up to 2 hours fire resistance and can be used in many applications, such as flexible walls, rigid walls and floors.

These batts are 1200mm x 600mm, 50mm thick, 140kg/m³ density

Packaging – they arrive individually wrapped in polythene on a pallet.

Storage temperature -> +5 to +40ºC

Classified to EN 13501-2: 2007 + A1: 2009

Acoustic tested to EN 10140 to 60dB

Application Information

This product must always be installed using QuelStop Intumescent Acrylic Sealant. Apply this product to all cuts, joints and exposed edges.

Services which penetrate through the QuelStop Fire Batt may need additional Quelfire products for adequate firestopping.
