FB750 Intubatt – High-Performance Fire Barrier Solution
The FB750 Intubatt is an advanced, lightweight fire barrier made from durable rock mineral fiber board, uniquely coated with an identifiable ablative layer containing Optifire traceability technology. Designed to deliver exceptional fire protection and meet industry-leading standards, the FB750 provides a reliable seal against fire, smoke, thermal, acoustic, and air pressure, making it an essential choice for compartment walls and floors in high-risk environments.
Key Features and Benefits of FB750 Intubatt:
- Fire Resistance & Smoke Sealing: Effectively reinstates the fire performance of compartmentalized walls and floors that have been compromised by penetrating services.
- Acoustic and Thermal Insulation: Maintains optimal thermal and acoustic barriers, adding an extra layer of safety and comfort.
- Air Pressure Seal: Protects against air leaks, further strengthening the integrity of the fire compartment.
Versatile Applications for Comprehensive Fire Protection
FB750 Intubatt is ideal for use in commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, industrial units, health and leisure facilities, and nuclear power plants, among others. It is particularly suited for flexible and rigid walls (90 mm or wider) and floors (150 mm or wider), as well as suspended floors, ceiling voids, and raised access floors.
When used alongside FS702 Intumastic, FB750 provides a robust seal around service penetrations, making it compatible with non-combustible pipes, cable trays, ladders, and more. Combined with Nullifire closure devices (such as FS709 HP, FP302 Intustrap, FP220 Service Sleeve, FP170 Intucollar), FB750 also offers fire-rated protection around combustible conduits, including PVC, PE, PP, and HDPE pipes.
Tested and Proven Protection
FB750 has been rigorously tested to BS 476 Part 21 standards, providing up to 120 minutes of fire resistance for loaded timber floors. Ensure all Safety Data Sheets (SDS), application guidelines, and relevant project documents are reviewed prior to application to meet project requirements and compliance standards.
Important Safety Notes
FB750 Intubatt should not directly contact CPVC pipes; instead, apply FS719 HP Blue for CPVC over the full depth of the FB750. For use with Pegler X-Press Carbon Steel pipes, consult the manufacturer’s recommendations.
