Intumescent Door Upgrade Kit DK1

Intumescent door upgrade kit DK1 in WHITE designed for upgrading Victorian/Georgian/Edwardian doors to 30 minutes fire doors.

This kit consists of:

• 900x1300mm of ES/MP/900 door card
• 310ml tube of IA intumescent adhesive
• 1/4 of a litre of HWAP primer
• 1/3 of a litre of HW01 intumescent
• 1/4 of a litre of HW04 undercoat

Minimum requirements for the door:

Rails/Styles thickness = 35mm

Panel thickness = 6mm or greater

Advantages:

The DK1 door upgrade kit combines both intumescent card and Envirograf’s product 42 coatings, to be suitable for a door face.

It is designed for panels between 6mm and 14mm.

Fireproof card face is available in standard white, faced with Gaboon or birch ply, or in a range of veneers.

The standard DK1 kits come in white. If you require a clear kit with a timber veneered ply please contact us.
