Envirograf Intumescent Letter Boxes

Envirograf’s range of intumescent letter box units has been designed to cater for different budgets and sizes. They have been tested to achieve up to 68 minutes protection. This test was in accordance with European Standard EN1634-1 (2000).

A test showing 61 minutes fire protection on a composite fire door was in accordance with BS 476 part 22 (1987).

Budget Letterplates

Envirograf’s Budget Intumescent Letter Box Units are made from a black plastic frame which is faced with an aluminium plate. They provide a seal against smoke, weather and draught. As with all intumescent letterboxes, the intumescent liner inside the box expands in a fire to seal off the aperture.

All of the budget letterboxes are 300mm x 67mm, suitable for 250mm x 35mm holes.

They come in a range of colours: Chrome, Satin Chrome, Gold, Black and White.

All colours are priced the same.

Variable Letterplates

These letterboxes come in 2 different sizes:

• SMALL : A 70mm x 315mm unit for a 50mm x 267mm hole
• LARGE : A 100mm x 335mm unit for a 69mm x 290mm hole

They can be bought in the following colours:

• Brown
• White
• Stainless steel
• Brass

If another colour (e.g. a RAL colour code finish) is required, please contact us.

The products can be bought with the following features:

• Option A – Front smoke frame & flap + an intumescent liner
• Option B – Front and rear smoke frame & flaps + an intumescent liner
• Option C – Front and rear smoke frame & flaps + an intumescent liner + a security hood

The hooks for the security hoods are black as standard.

These letterboxes must be installed into the hole using the screws supplied. Then manually insert the letterbox liner and fix it to the letterplate with the double-sided tape and pins supplied.

Internal flaps or security hoods must be aligned with the external flaps, then fixed with the screws supplied.
