Envirograf Metal Fire Box

Envirograf’s Fire Boxes are to be installed around mail slots. There is also a flexible fire bag equivalent for if preferred. Please see the Envirograf Flexible Fire Bags. They are both appropriate for using in internal areas which are vulnerable to arson and vandalism.

The intumescent material in the boxes extinguishes fire, to protect the property. This can easily be renewed.

Fit the metal box on the back of the door or wall. As standard they come with a hinged lid and lock. Doors are available as optional extras.

Use the flexible bag when doors need to be opened wide and there is a tight gap between the door and the wall.

Please let us know when ordering, if you require identical keys for multiple boxes, if ordering 2 or more boxes.

Fire Testing:

These products have been tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987).

This means that the fireboxes and bags self extinguish flames and fire, therefore will not allow anything to burn.

Application Instructions:

Use 30mm screws to fit into place.

Sizes

These come in various different colours: Black, Brown and White.

Spouts/chutes at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal, to pass through walls, can be fitted to rigid boxes at an extra cost. Please contact us on 01752 690997 or sales@fireproofpaint.co.uk for more information.

Flush locks are included. Standard box colours are white, black, and brown. Other colours are available at extra cost.

Use an Envirograf letter box liner with any letter box on the front of the door. Please contact us if a bespoke size is needed.
