TENMAT FF102/50 Intumescent Cavity Barrier
Main Details
Tenmat’s FF102/50 fire barrier can be installed into masonry constructions, rainscreen and timber frame cavities.
In masonry constructions, it provides 120 minutes fire resistance when installed both horizontally and vertically.
Whereas in rainscreen / timber frame cavities, it can provide between 30 and 120 minutes fire resistance when installed within a 44mm clear ventilated void.
This high expansion intumescent cavity barrier is suitable to be installed horizontally within 50mm wide ventilated voids.
In timber frame constructions, it provides 30 minutes fire resistance when installed horizontally.
Dimensions: 6mm x 75mm x 1m
Suitable for use within uninsulated, ventilated and drained “open state” cavities.
No maintenance is required once this fire barrier has been installed.
Fire Testing
Tenmat FF102/50 has been tested and assessed to the general principles of BS 476 Part 20 and 22: 1987
