Extile Flipfix Access Panels

From cabling to stopcocks, access panels really do make buildings more user-friendly, but traditional access panels do consume time when it comes to installation as material costs and labour costs are encountered. What if this could be avoided?

Flipfix access panels change all of that. Our access panels have Flipfix technology which reduces the costs of additional materials. Flipfix access panels can be fitted straight into plasterboard ceilings and walls without the need of sticking, screwing or bracing. They really can save up to 50% of the standard fitting time.

Another characteristic benefit is that the Flipfix device can cover different thicknesses of plasterboard; 8mm-32mm making it also suitable for double board.

As standard, the Flipfix access panels have a metal faced door, with a budget lock and a 25mm picture frame.

Colours

In terms of colour, RAL 9010. Other colours are available.

Applications

There is a variety to meet many needs. These access panels have been designed to facilitate inspections. Not for personal access. The fire rated variant provides a 2-hour rating in accordance with BS476 Part 22.1987. Paperboard faced access panels are available.
Depending whether fire rating is required, loft hatches and even plastic access panels are also available.

Flipfix Fitting Instructions

Not only by using our access panels, can additional materials costs be reduced but training too. Due to easy fitting process of the panels, it means that the time that would normally have to be spent training others to fit it will be less.
